At some point all of them were big narco bosses. They were shipping tons of cocaine from Mexico into the United States, had huge armies behind them and were making millions of dollars. 

Most of them were sitting at the same table with top Mexican politicians, paying millions in bribes and used to being called jefe or jefa in some cases. 

But now that life is far gone. The luxury cars, the millions of dollars and the power they held was left behind in a Mexican or U.S. prison. No one calls them boss anymore. Their new reality is made out of selling cosmetic products or singing in an unpopular band or even making videos on YouTube.
